William McDowall is an Associate Member of the Sustainability Solutions Group Workers Co-Operative in Vancouver, Canada, and an International Associate of Brunel Research in Enterprise, Innovation, Sustainability and Ethics at Brunel University in the UK. He was previously a Research Fellow at the Policy Studies Institute in London, where his research focused on energy and technology policy, and Chinese environmental issues.

Pawley, Laurence

Laurence Pawley is a PhD candidate and undergraduate tutor at Goldsmiths College, University of London. His thesis seeks to analyse the interaction between different models of citizenship in the BBC, and his other research interests include democratic theory, blogging, and the politics of pop culture. He writes on broadcasting issues for the campaign group Voice of the Listener and Viewer, and has contributed music reviews to various online and print publications, co-founding the e-zine ‘To Hell With’ in 2002.

Esposito, he is running the “Mediterranean, Europe and Islam: Actors in Dialogue”. Among his recent publications: the co-edited volumes Religion in International Relations: The Return from Exile (Nex York: Palgrave, 2003; Italian translation by Vita e Pensiero, Milan, 2006).
